A picturesque drive takes you to the imperial city of Rabat, where the charm of Morocco’s capital awaits you. Your first stop is the Royal Palace, surrounded by fortified walls that house spectacular attractions such as the Al Fez Mosque, the Royal College and several government buildings. From here you can admire the encircling Chellah Necropolis site from the to the Hassan Tower, a minaret of a vast unfinished mosque dating from the 12th century, as well as the Mohammed V Mausoleum, which houses the royal sarcophagus under a golden cedar dome. Afterwards, you will visit the magnificent Kasbah and the Andalusian Gardens, a citadel complex more than 800 years old, facing the Bou Regreg River. You will also discover a fascinating museum. On your way back to Casablanca, take a break to admire the splendid Hassan II Mosque from outside. Before returning to the ship, enjoy some free time on United Nations Place.
