The tournament takes place at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, except for a few years when it was held at the Golf du Palais Royal in Agadir. The winner receives a gold dagger inlaid with jewels.

Ames parred all 18 holes on the final day of the tournament to secure his victory, marking his third career Champions Tour title. Hensby missed a birdie putt at the 12th hole that would have tied for the lead and ended up with a 2-over 75 for Saturday.
